I am beyond proud of what we’ve achieved with CJ’s Mission so far, but I felt deep down something bigger still had to come. Real change HAS to be made.
So I’ve made CJ’s Mission a bit more of an actual thing.
CJ’s Mission is now a nonprofit organisation with a purpose of supporting, empowering, and collaborating with families and medical professionals to improve the experience of being in hospital with a sick child – both in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Children’s hospital. I aim to make the transition through both places smoother, before the big leap home.
I want to make real positive change happen for future families and little ones who need a medical helping hand along the way, whilst supporting families who are experiencing this journey now.
We’ll actively continue to support existing charitable initiatives that supported us – we’re bringing the recent family perspective that bridges the extra large gap between NICU and the children’s hospital. Together, everyone can make a difference.
