Uncle George is cycling to Paris next week

Aged 19 I cycled into Oxford a few times. At no point did I ever contemplate cycling as far as Paris. Clara’s 19 year old Uncle George, the eldest of my two younger brothers, is doing exactly that next week… on his own!

George is cycling from The Oxford Children’s Hospital on Wednesday 7th March 2018 – next week. He’s cycling to raise money for CJ’s Mission.

We are so so proud of him!

On Wednesday morning George will arrive here at the Children’s Hospital around 6.30am. With the help of a nurse, we’ll take Clara, attached to her tpn fluid stands, downstairs to wave George off. 12 hours of cycling later he’ll arrive in Brighton at night and he’ll catch a ferry from Newhaven the next day.

It’s not too late to sponsor George, you can do so here.

Here’s a reminder of why the fundraising is so important and where your money goes.

Dean’s cousin Stuart has designed and created some fantastic branded cycling gear for George:

My wonderful grandfather has put together this summary of George’s trip. If you’re on the route, it would be fantastic if you kept an eye out for George in his orange gear on a bright blue bike – give him a wave!
